Online Safety Information / Gwybodaeth Diogelu Ar-lein

It is vital to educate our pupils about online safety. Our pupils participate in lessons where online security issues are highlighted, so that they can make independent decisions about keeping themselves safe whilst in the digital and real world. A School Community Police Officer will also visit the school to support the learning within the classroom and to ensure that the appropriate safeguarding messages are shared with the children and staff. Please click on the image below to access information and resources that reinforce the key messages delivered by our School Community Police Officers in Dafen Primary School.

As a parent it’s important you know that all social networking platforms (or social networking apps, if on a smartphone) have age limits. Some social networks use technologies that might not be right for some ages, or engage with communities that are made up of people much older than your child. Please click on the image below find out more about age restrictions.

As a school we are currently working towards the 360 Degree Safe Cymru accreditation mark.
