What is a Digital Leader?
Digital Leaders in Dafen School are learners who want to share their knowledge with others and promote the use of all things digital throughout the school.
Digital Leaders support staff and learners in using digital tools safely, creatively, and effectively. They act as role models for digital citizenship and innovation.
Being a Digital Leader is a fantastic opportunity to take on a responsibility and develop confidence and leadership skills.
What do our Digital Leaders do?
As Digital Leaders we carry out the following:

Share our digital vision for the school.

Promote the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Demonstrate how to use programs for learners and staff.

Assist teachers during ICT or cross-curricular lessons involving technology.

Encourage safe and responsible online behaviour in line with the schools Online Safety Policy.

Help embed the Digital Competence Framework across the curriculum.

Model creative ways of using technology for problem solving, communication and collaboration.

Maintain and update equipment.
